Who Makes Robot Joint Parts? 12 US-Listed Makers and Their Past Year
Over the past year, 11 of the 12 US-listed actuator-parts makers returned by one stocks-llm screener answer saw their share price rise, with a median gain of 34% from the October 16, 2025 close to the October 16, 2026 close. NN Inc rose 88%, Allient 87% and Moog (Class A) 81%, while Columbus McKinnon was the only one down, by 1%.

A robot joint is an actuator. A motor turns it, gears and bearings carry the load, and a sensor reports where it is. Factories installed more than 600,000 industrial robots in 2025, up 11%, according to the International Federation of Robotics (IFR, September 24, 2026). The screener notes that robots are only one of these companies' markets.
The makers differ widely in size. As of October 16, 2026, computed market value runs from about $121.4 billion for Parker Hannifin to about $0.28 billion for NN Inc, so Parker is more than 400 times NN (computed from the closing price and the latest share count in SEC filings).

Ten of the twelve closed on October 16, 2026 more than 15% below their highest close of the past year, and five set that high between June 22 and June 30, 2026. Allegro MicroSystems closed at $31.62, 55% below its June 30 close of $69.62, and Regal Rexnord was 35% below its own June 30 high. Both are up less than 8% over the year. All changes are share price changes, not including dividends.
