What is trading below the Ichimoku cloud?
The cloud is a shaded band, and what matters for this list is that a band has a THICKNESS where a moving average has none. A price under a line is under one number; a price under this band has a whole zone overhead, and every row here shows how deep that zone is. Practitioners read a thin band as overhead supply that gives way easily and a thick one as a ceiling that has held long enough to take real effort to clear — which is why the height is on the row rather than buried. The band itself is built from the stock’s own extremes: the midpoint between the highest high and the lowest low over 9, 26 and 52 sessions, combined into two edges. And it is drawn 26 sessions ahead of the data it comes from, so the ceiling above today’s price describes where the stock was trading roughly five weeks ago. That cuts hard on this side: a company that bottomed and rallied hard in the past month can still sit below a band drawn before it turned, so appearing here is not evidence that a fall is still under way.
How do I read the Trading below the Ichimoku cloud (UK) screen?
This screen lists companies whose latest close sits below the whole band, furthest below at the top, with the distance and the band’s height on every row. Practitioners read that position as an established downtrend, with the band above acting as the level that would have to be cleared for the picture to change. The same three limits apply as on the bullish side, and one of them cuts harder here. The band is five weeks stale by construction, so a stock that has already turned and rallied hard in the last month can still be below a band drawn before the turn — being on this list is not evidence that a fall is continuing. Nor does the position say anything about why: a company below its cloud because its results disappointed sits in the same list as one that drifted there in a quiet market. A price below a widely-watched level is a record of what has happened, not a forecast of what comes next. Nothing here is advice.

Data: daily-close price history, recomputed nightly. Every figure is shown with its as-of date on the company page; a company without enough price history for this indicator is excluded, never estimated.
2 covered companies were not evaluated for this screen because their price series end on or before an earlier session (AEP.L, MEGP.L), at least 0 trading sessions behind the null session the rest of the catalog carries. A technical signal is a claim about the present, so it is not asserted from a series that stops before it. Those companies keep the readings they have on their own page, with the as-of date they were computed from.
