Robot Chips Beyond Nvidia: Did TI, Analog Devices and 6 Others Beat It? (Past Year)

Nvidia sells a computer built to be a robot's brain, but motor control, vision and power chips come from other companies. We tracked eight US-listed robot-chip makers against Nvidia from October 16, 2025 to October 16, 2026. Four beat Nvidia's 18% gain: Analog Devices rose 64%, Texas Instruments 58%, STMicroelectronics 55% and onsemi 36%. Ambarella fell 27% and Navitas 47%. They are not small either: Texas Instruments is worth about $250 billion. And on last year's earnings most of them are not cheaper than Nvidia: about 44 times for Nvidia, 51 for TI, 87 for Analog Devices; only NXP is lower, at 29.
