What is the anchored VWAP measured from a company’s last earnings report?

A volume-weighted average price weights each day’s price by how much stock changed hands that day, which makes it a reasonable stand-in for what the average share bought over a stretch actually cost. Anchoring it at a company’s last earnings report turns it into a specific question: of all the money that has gone into this share since the results came out, is it collectively up or down? The date the averaging starts from is the day the company actually reported, taken from its earliest 8-K, 10-Q or 10-K filed after the quarter ended — not the last day of the quarter itself, which typically falls six to eight weeks earlier and would start the average in the middle of a period nobody had yet seen the numbers for. As on every page here, the figure is a volume-weighted average of daily closing prices rather than a true trade-by-trade VWAP, which is close over a stretch of weeks and is not the same number.

How do I read the Under water since its last earnings report (below the anchored VWAP) screen?

This screen lists companies trading more than 1.6% below that average — one typical trading session's move, measured across the catalog rather than chosen — with the furthest below at the top. In plain terms, the market has not sustained what it was paying in the weeks after the results. Four limits, all of which matter. This is a US-only list, because the report date comes from an SEC filing and the UK companies covered here have no equivalent in our sources. A company that reported only days ago is left out entirely, because a handful of sessions is not an average of anything. The reading says nothing about whether the results were good — a strong quarter that was already priced in and a weak one produce the same shape here. And a price below its average since a report is a record of what has happened, not a forecast of what comes next. Nothing here is advice.

Data: daily-close price history, recomputed nightly. Every figure is shown with its as-of date on the company page; a company without enough price history for this indicator is excluded, never estimated.

15 covered companies were not evaluated for this screen because their price series end on or before 2026-07-28 (EEX, ESPR, FLY, FRMI, GEMI, GLXY, GTLS, HAWK, IBEX, KORE, MVIS, NFBK, and 3 more), at least 7 trading sessions behind the 2026-08-06 session the rest of the catalog carries. A technical signal is a claim about the present, so it is not asserted from a series that stops before it. Those companies keep the readings they have on their own page, with the as-of date they were computed from.
