Elliott wave 5 candidates

A technical stock screen computed nightly from daily-close price history (market data). Selection is deterministic — a company appears only when its stored indicator meets the screen's rule; nothing is estimated.

114 companies in the catalog currently match this technical screen. Leading the list, HSBC HOLDINGS PLC (HSBC) is its swings can be read as a five-part sequence now in leg 5, the final one on that reading — the reading fails if price closes below $101.74; the only labelling that fits.

What is an Elliott wave 5?

Elliott wave analysis reads a chart as a repeating shape: five legs in the direction of the larger trend (an "impulse"), then three legs against it (an "A-B-C correction"). We label the sequence of swing highs and lows a stock has actually printed and keep only labellings that survive the three rules the method treats as inviolable — wave 2 never gives back all of wave 1, wave 3 is never the shortest of waves 1, 3 and 5, and wave 4 never trades back into wave 1's range. Every count we show carries the price that would break it. Wave 5 is the last of the five legs. On that labelling the sequence would be nearing its end, which is why the count matters more here than anywhere else in the shape — and why the level that breaks it is on every row.

How do I read the Elliott wave 5 candidates screen?

This screen lists companies whose swings can be labelled as a five-part sequence currently in its final leg, strongest labellings first. A count reaching leg 5 is a description of the legs already printed; it is not a call that the move is about to end, and the labelling can extend or fail outright. This describes swings the stock has already printed, not what comes next. Elliott labelling is genuinely subjective — competent chartists routinely label the same chart differently, and more than one labelling usually survives the rules — so each row names the level at which its reading fails rather than asserting a target.

Data: daily-close price history, recomputed nightly. Every figure is shown with its as-of date on the company page; a company without enough price history for this indicator is excluded, never estimated.

14 covered companies were not evaluated for this screen because their price series end on or before 2026-08-10 (CBC, CCRN, EA, ECHO, EEX, FJET, KORE, LPRO, NFBK, NSA, SKYT, STEL, and 2 more), at least 3 trading sessions behind the 2026-08-13 session the rest of the catalog carries. A technical signal is a claim about the present, so it is not asserted from a series that stops before it. Those companies keep the readings they have on their own page, with the as-of date they were computed from. 9 covered companies were not evaluated for this screen (AKTS, ANGX, FRMI, GEMI, HAWK, MVIS, SHAZ, TSEOQ, WOLF) because our price history for these companies shows an unadjusted split or scale break. Every indicator read from such a series is an artifact of that break rather than a fact about the company, so none of them is asserted here — which is why the same companies have no 1-year return on their own page either.
