What is a bullish MACD crossover?
MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) tracks momentum by subtracting a stock's 26-day exponential moving average from its 12-day one, then comparing that to a 9-day signal line — the standard 12/26/9 settings. The MACD "histogram" is the gap between the two; when it crosses from negative to positive, short-term momentum has turned up relative to the longer trend.
