How Much Is Being Traded on the Midterms? More Than $1.4 Billion, Mostly on Kalshi

More than $1.4 billion has been traded on prediction markets about the 2026 US midterms by October 23, a CNN analysis found, most of it on Kalshi. Counting only House and Senate races, betting is already more than twice the whole 2024 cycle, but one 2024 presidential market on Polymarket was bigger on its own. And on Polymarket, where trades are public, the top 1% of wallets account for 68% of House and Senate volume.
