Broke out to a new 20-day high on heavy volume
A technical stock screen computed nightly from daily-close price history (market data). Selection is deterministic — a company appears only when its stored indicator meets the screen's rule; nothing is estimated.
84 companies in the catalog currently match this technical screen; these are 51–75.
Every company listed meets the rule: broke out to a new 20-day high on heavy volume.

What is a high-volume 20-day breakout?
This combines two conditions: a fresh 20-day high (a Donchian breakout to the upside) AND unusually heavy trading — at least twice the stock's own 30-day average volume on the breakout. The idea is that a new high made on a surge of volume reflects broader participation than a quiet drift to a new high.
How do I read the “Broke out to a new 20-day high on heavy volume” screen?
This screen lists companies that made a new 20-day high within the last few sessions while trading at 2x or more of their average volume, most recent breakout first. Requiring both conditions makes it far more selective than the plain breakout screen. It describes a past high made on heavy volume — not a prediction.

Data: daily-close price history, recomputed nightly. Every figure is shown with its as-of date on the company page; a company without enough price history for this indicator is excluded, never estimated.
13 covered companies were not evaluated for this screen because their price series end on or before 2026-10-26 (ACA, BRR, BZH, CBC, DOMO, ECHO, ELME, FJET, GLXY, PAAI, RAL, TOI, and 1 more), at least 3 trading sessions behind the 2026-10-29 session the rest of the catalog carries. A technical signal is a claim about the present, so it is not asserted from a series that stops before it. Those companies keep the readings they have on their own page, with the as-of date they were computed from. 7 covered companies were not evaluated for this screen (AKTS, CTVA, HAWK, INHD, MVIS, SHAZ, TSEOQ) because our price history for these companies shows an unadjusted split or scale break. Every indicator read from such a series is an artifact of that break rather than a fact about the company, so none of them is asserted here — which is why the same companies have no 1-year return on their own page either.
Last updated 2026-10-29 — this screen recomputes nightly from daily-close prices, so its members change over time.
